This state-of-the-art facility utilizes a **modular garage/tunnel dry batch digestion system** paired with a **plug-flow** regime to process solid animal manure with high total solids (TS 2035%).

* **Digester Flow Dynamics & Mechanical Handling:**

Feedstock is loaded into gastight, reinforced concrete tunnel bays via front-end wheel loaders in a batch-wise sequence. Rather than mechanical impellers, internal mass transfer and inoculation rely on a closed-loop **percolate spraying system**, which recirculates warm, microbe-rich liquid throughout the porous biomass bed to establish efficient plug-flow leaching and continuous bioconversion without mechanical clogs.

* **Thermal Regime:**

The plant operates in a strictly regulated **thermophilic regime (50C55C)**. Temperature is maintained via embedded in-floor/wall hydronic heating circuits and percolate pre-heating heat exchangers, ensuring rapid methanogenic kinetics and complete pathogen sanitization.

* **Energy Recovery & Valorization:**

Biogas is desulfurized, dried, and split into dual energy-recovery streams:

1. High-efficiency **combined heat and power (CHP) units** generate base-load electricity and supply process thermal energy.

2. Membrane separation upgrades biomethane to automotive-grade **Bio-CNG (>96% $\text{CH}_4$)**, which is subsequently compressed for storage and off-take, while digestate is separated for high-grade organic fertilizer.
