Install Fruit Juice Continuous used decanter centrifuge

This project involved the installation and comprehensive refurbishment of a pre-owned continuous decanter centrifuge tailored for fruit juice processing. To ensure food-safe, reliable, and continuous operation, the unit underwent a complete mechanical overhaul. Key repair tasks included replacing worn main bearings and scroll bearings, installing new sanitizable food-grade seals, and dynamically balancing both the bowl and scroll conveyor to minimize operational vibration and wear. All product-contact surfaces were thoroughly sanitized, polished, and inspected for structural integrity. Following these mechanical repairs, the centrifuge was securely mounted on vibration-isolating dampeners and aligned with the process feed and discharge piping. Electrical integration involved connecting a new variable frequency drive (VFD) and programming the PLC controller to optimize bowl-to-scroll differential speeds. Finally, the system underwent wet-testing and calibration, successfully restoring the used decanter centrifuge to OEM-level performance for high-yield juice clarification.
