The liberated starch slurry undergoes multi-stage centrifugal screening to cleanly separate fine fiber pulp from the starch milk.

For refining, the unit uses high-efficiency hydrocyclone batteries to remove proteins, soluble impurities, and residual cell juice while concentrating the slurry. Finally, an integrated centrifuge de-waters the refined starch prior to flash drying.
