This professional repair and refurbishment project restored a used, continuous-operation decanter centrifuge operating at a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP). Due to the abrasive nature of industrial wastewater sludge, the unit had experienced significant wear.

The overhaul process included:

* **Disassembly & Inspection:** Complete strip-down, chemical cleaning, and non-destructive testing of the bowl and scroll.

* **Wear Restoration:** Re-hardfacing and replacing tungsten carbide wear tiles on the scroll conveyor flights.

* **Component Replacement:** Installation of new high-grade bearings, seals, and gaskets to restore OEM tolerances.

* **Dynamic Balancing:** High-speed balancing of the rotating assembly to minimize operational vibration.

* **Trial Run:** Rigorous post-repair testing and calibration under simulated load conditions to confirm optimal solids-liquid separation, cake dryness, and torque performance.

This comprehensive restoration successfully returned the CETP decanter centrifuge to peak efficiency, ensuring reliable continuous service and an extended operational life.
