Basket Centrifuge

In food and beverage arena, basket centrifuges are used as reliable oil extraction equipments that can efficiently separate solid from fluid by using basket shaped filter. As part of the mechanism of basket centrifuges, centrifugal force is applied to isolate solid from liquid. A cloth based filter media is used to separate solid and fluid and this cloth is fitted with a supporting mesh inside the rotating basket of these centrifuge systems. After feeding the slurry to the basket through feed nozzle, its liquid part is discharged through the filter media and the solid content is captured within the filter media. Captured solid is later released either manually or by bag lifting basket.
