Service STP Continuous used decanter centrifuge

This service project involved the comprehensive inspection, repair, and optimization of an STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) continuous used decanter centrifuge. To restore the unit to peak operational efficiency, a complete teardown and diagnostic evaluation were performed. Key service actions included high-precision dynamic balancing of the bowl and scroll conveyor to minimize operational vibration, replacement of critical wear componentsincluding main bearings, seals, and feed zone nozzlesand rebuilding the gearbox assembly. Structural components were thoroughly cleaned, inspected for erosion or corrosion, and reinforced where necessary. Hard-surfacing was reapplied to the scroll flights to extend service life against abrasive sludge. Finally, the control systems and safety interlocks were calibrated, followed by rigorous test runs to verify feed throughput, cake dryness, and centrate clarity. The refurbished decanter centrifuge is now fully restored to meet continuous-duty municipal wastewater treatment specifications.
