About Install ETP Continuous repair decanter

This maintenance task involves the reinstallation and commissioning of a refurbished decanter centrifuge within the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to restore continuous sludge dewatering operations. The scope of work includes transporting the repaired decanter to the installation site, aligning it precisely with the feed, liquid discharge, and solids cake discharge piping, and securing the structural mounts to minimize operational vibration. Technicians will reconnect the electrical power supply, variable frequency drives (VFDs), control instrumentation, and lubrication systems.
Following installation, a comprehensive pre-commissioning check will be performed, including scroll-to-bowl rotation verification, seal integrity testing, and vibration analysis under no-load conditions. Once cleared, the unit will undergo load testing with process sludge to optimize differential speed settings and polymer dosing, ensuring peak separation efficiency and restoring full ETP throughput capacity.
