About Trial CETP Automatic used decanter

This repair project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of a used automatic decanter centrifuge deployed for trial operations at a Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP). Given the abrasive nature of CETP sludge, the centrifuge underwent complete dismantling and deep chemical cleaning.

The repair and servicing scope included:

* **Conveyor scroll restoration**: Rebuilding worn flights and applying high-grade tungsten carbide hardfacing for enhanced wear protection.

* **Bearing and seal replacement**: Installing new main bearings, conveyor bearings, lip seals, and O-rings to ensure leak-free operation.

* **Gearbox overhaul**: Servicing the planetary gearbox and updating automatic control sensors.

* **Precision dynamic balancing**: Balancing both the bowl and scroll assemblies individually and together to minimize operational vibration and noise.

Following reassembly, the decanter underwent rigorous trial testing to calibrate the automatic feed and differential speed systems. The repair successfully restored optimal dewatering efficiency, ensuring stable solids separation for the CETP trial.
