Biogas accumulates beneath a balanced, water-sealed floating drum that telescopes vertically along a central guide shaft, ensuring steady isobaric gas delivery while accommodating volumetric fluctuations during peak digestion phases.

* **Mechanical Feeding & Agitation:** Agricultural biomass undergoes automated shredding and maceration before an industrial progressive cavity feed pump introduces slurry into the lower digestion zone. Intermittent agitation via slow-speed, high-torque dual-paddle vertical mixers prevents crust stratification, disperses scum, and eliminates dead zones to optimize microbial-substrate contact.

* **Thermal Regime:** The vessel maintains a strictly regulated mesophilic envelope (37C 1C) using an internal stainless-steel hot-water circulation jacket/internal coil grid linked to a closed-loop hydronic heating system with automated PLC-driven thermostatic valves.

* **Gas Treatment & Energy Recovery:** Raw biogas is routed through an integrated counter-current packed-bed chemical scrubber to strip $\text{H}_2\text{S}$ and trace $\text{CO}_2$, yielding purified biomethane. Upgraded fuel powers a combined heat and power (CHP) engine for electrical generation and parasitic digester heating, with overflow digestate separated into nutrient-dense bio-fertilizer.
