This facility utilizes a continuous horizontal plug-flow dry anaerobic digestion process engineered to co-digest animal manure (dairy/swine) alongside high-solids carbonaceous agro-waste (1525% Total Solids).

* **Digester Flow Dynamics & Feeding:** Prepared feedstock is metered into the elongated, gas-tight concrete reactor via heavy-duty, positive-displacement progressive cavity pumps and twin-screw conveyor airlocks. The material advances linearly under quasi-laminar plug-flow hydraulics, minimizing short-circuiting and ensuring a defined hydraulic retention time (HRT) of 2030 days.

* **Mechanical Agitation:** Low-speed, high-torque horizontal axial agitators equipped with angled paddle arrays provide transverse mixing. This shears crusting layers, promotes degasification, and keeps heavier inerts suspended without disrupting the longitudinal plug profile.

* **Thermal Regime:** Integrated floor and perimeter hydronic heating circuits sustain a mesophilic (3840C) or thermophilic (5255C) operating window, managed by automated SCADA loops to optimize methanogenic kinetics and pathogen reduction.

* **Biogas Recovery & Valorization:** Biomethane is scrubbed for HS and siloxanes before firing in a high-efficiency Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit or an RNG membrane upgrading train. Waste heat is recirculated for parasitic digester heating, while the nutrient-rich digestate undergoes solid-liquid separation and secondary aerobic curing to yield certified commercial-grade organic biofertilizer.
