Key Process Stages

• Slurry Infeed: The refined, dilute wheat starch slurry is continuously fed into the filtration system's vat, maintaining a consistent level for steady operation.

• Continuous Dewatering: Utilizing advanced equipment like rotary vacuum drum filters or continuous belt filters, the liquid is drawn through a specialized filter medium. The solid starch particles accumulate on the surface to form a uniform filter cake.

• In-line Washing: As the starch cake forms, fresh water is systematically sprayed over it. This crucial step washes away residual soluble proteins (like trace gluten) and fine impurities, ensuring the high purity of the native starch.
